Giving property owners a reason to talk about EV charging.

XCharge North America sells EV charging infrastructure. Prospecting had been manual and scattered. Researched outreach to property owners produced replies and campaign opportunities. Alex Urist, Co-Founder & SVP of Marketing, describes the work on video.

The situation

XCharge North America needed conversations with property owners who could host EV charging. Prospecting was being done one person at a time through LinkedIn, conferences, bought lists and news research. It found buyers, but slowly, and it did not scale.

What we did

  • Built a research and outreach system aimed specifically at property owners, not the EV market in general.
  • Used the 30C incentive as the conversation angle at the time. That is historical campaign context, not current tax guidance or a statement of who qualifies today.
  • Revised the messaging and the data sources as replies and sales-call notes came in, so each round reflected what buyers were responding to.

What happened

The campaign dashboard for the range Mar 2 to Apr 16 shows 34.2K Total sent, a 4.84% Reply rate and 233 Opportunities.

Alex Urist, Co-Founder & SVP of Marketing, recorded a video testimonial about the work. The published case text quotes him: “Avik works incredibly well with whatever inputs you can give him.”

What it shows

A narrow, well-researched audience with one relevant reason to reply produced a steady flow of replies for this client. The numbers are campaign figures, shown as the platform recorded them. The sales conversations that followed belonged to XCharge’s team.

The decision that mattered

Aim at property owners who could host charging, not at the EV market in general, and use the incentive of the moment as the reason to talk. The audience was narrow enough that every message could be about the owner’s site.

The method: Buyer fit and timing playbook
