Five campaigns for five kinds of hotel, instead of one message for all.
A software provider that connects hotels to WhatsApp was getting a handful of weak leads a month from generic outreach. Splitting the market by how each property handled guest communication, international marketing and bookings changed who replied.
The situation
The client sells WhatsApp integration to hotels and hospitality groups. The original case reports that generic outreach was producing five to ten low-quality leads a month. Every hotel was getting the same message, so none of them saw their own situation in it.
What we did
- Split the market into five campaigns based on each property’s setup: email-only guest support, phone support, active international promotion, and the booking platforms in use.
- Wrote each campaign around the specific gap that setup creates for guests.
- The original case reports that three of the five campaigns produced consistent results.
What happened
The campaign dashboard shows 6,007 Contacted, 204 Replied and 63 Opportunities.
What it shows
Relevance came from segmentation, not from a better generic message. Each hotel heard about the one gap that applied to it.
Evidence

Platform labels. Period not established. Opportunities is the platform’s label; how it is counted is not established, and it is not a count of meetings or sales.
